Athlete Clinics
New Athlete Clinics are held year round and nationwide for any community that has the interest in providing the sport in their area. USPSA board members, member teams and volunteers present these clinics in order to introduce power soccer to potential athletes, coaches, friends and families and promote the development of this fast growing sport

Many clinics are conducted at MDA summer camps, local parks and recreation departments,  schools and colleges. Frequently clinics are initiated by ordinary people who happen to know someone in a power chair.

The main responsibility of the “host city” is to secure an accessible facility that has a regulation size basketball court or a comparable space. The USPSA will assist you with materials and outreach ideas to find and recruit your target audience. The clinic leader will provide the necessary equipment such as guards, balls, and cones.

The clinic leader may conduct your presentation through a variety of means; DVD presentation,  a “hand’s on” clinic where the participants  actually learn through skill and game play, or perhaps through our Program Starter  Guide and Drill Booklet. The clinic leader and the host will work together through the weeks or months prior to ensure you have a successful clinic.

If there is not a clinic near you, perhaps you will consider hosting one. Please contact 1-866-928-9009 for more information.

Referee Clinics

Referee training clinics are held across the USA a number of times per year. They usually consist of a 4-6 hour classroom training with hands on refereeing for 2-3 hours following. The classes are free to those persons interested in becoming a certified power soccer referee. Certification comes through experience and time officiating power soccer games. All referees would be evaluated and assessed through area instructors and the supervisor of officials. Certification can be accelerated with outdoor soccer experience. We are supported through our membership with the United States Soccer Federation officials program.

Please remember that all referees must register with USPSA:
